Are there any benefits to having a high-end gaming PC ($1000+) other than to play vidya and render solidworks fast?
I'm searching for reasons to build one

High end computers will stay useful for longer and will feel more responsive. People still use the i7 9xx series but you never hear of anyone using first gen i3.
