Life is not bravado. I am not really important. More likely than not, I am a statistically insignificant drop. I am not invested in an ego trip. I've seen far too many poor "investments" in my time.
I'm at the age where I have to think about "If I settle down here, will my kids and grandkids be able to enjoy it?". I honestly don't see much of anything other than carnage and disappointment and tragedy from the USA in the next 10-20 years. Maybe when things "heal", when the happening has happened, etc.
