Why not go even further back in time and use feathers?

I like writing with feathers, but it's not practical for every day usage.

Go Waterman

I've been looking for a new quill. Anyone have any suggestions?
I like the look of the peacock feather, but the Turkey feather just seems more solid, you know?
Doesn't that take longer to dry? What's the point of this? $100 for a fricking pen? Novelty factor or just plain retarded?

Full Retard.

It's for projecting status.
Go to a bank and try getting a loan white filling out the form with a bic pen and casio watch.
Then do the same with a golden fether pen, while flashing a swiss mechanical watch and watch how fast the managers will start kissing your ass.
Same goes for any kinds of contracts. It just tells "I have enough money to blow your month's salary on a pen because I'm used to nice things".
Makes business life a whole lot easier.
