Pic related, building new itx system. Looks excellent and has the features I need.
This keyboard with ML switches so I can take it on my ship in the Navy
>>55540144
dafuq is that hood at the top for?
>>55540144
THOSE SATA PORTS
WHAT THE FUCK.
>>55540242
My primary feature when looking at a keyboard is the backspace key. If it's not full size fkin dropped. Second is mechanical yadda yadda.
>>55540263
All the I/O ports are behind it. Most high-end mobos have them, it just looks huge on a mini-ITX.
>>55540278
What about them?
>>55540385
horrible placement for mitx actually horrible placement for literally any board. JUST FUCK MY SHIT UP SENPAI.
Yesterday I bought an HP OmniBook xt1000s. Best €5 I've ever spent. Posting from it right now, specs on pic.
>>55540434
By no means unique to that board tho
>>55540485
doesnt make it less shitty.
>>55540485
>SNSV
Reminder to not buy no-name brand boards
>>55540485
Not that guy buy my mini ITX board doesn't have that problem.
Pretty much all of this minus SSDs and gpu.
I5-6600k
16gb g skill 2400mhz ram
Msi Z170A SLI Plus mobo
Corsair h100i cooler
Corsair ax860i psu
S340 case
>>55540527
Yes it does. Don't kid yourself
why couldnt they just find a place near the edge for the sata ports and atleast fucking put them on their side holy shit lazy design.
>>55540527
Ironically I was stuck deciding between the OP pic related and GA-Z170N-Wifi.
Went with the stinger primarily because of aesthetics. The IO bracket gives it an X99 mobo look that I have plans for in the future.
i got pissed of with yuyuko and her messed up raid and decided to replace with two microservers
and then fixed all her issues in one go
fucking typical

> not 64bit
You are the cancer in the PC world. Good luck in 22 years.
>>55540627
My dude. Preparing for Ace Combat 7?
>>55540646
I bet you haven't heard of the game I am going to use it for
4K is truly wonderful.
>>55540242
I've got three of those - lovely little things
a laptop with ml switches would be delicious
>>55540144
Needed a better card for my recently purchased 34" 1440p Ultrawide screen
>>55540805
Is 4k really worth it? I was looking at getting https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01A0FEBXQ/
In the end I think 144Hz will be better then 4k@60Hz for me
>>55540854
For overall PC use, yes. Watching 4K material is amazing.
Screenspace for multitasking, at least with a big 4K screen is something you can't go back from.
I don't play many video games, so above 60hz isn't a need for me. But playing at 4K 60hz is also truly amazing.
But so is 120hz+ fast gaming.
So if you're playing a lot of fast games, 120hz+ is better.
Planning on buying a new gaming PC, I'm open for improvement and feedback with this build.
So far I've chosen:
- Kingston UV400 240GB
- WD Red 3TB IntelliPower 64MB
- Corsair 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 2133MHz CL13 Vengeance LPX
- Intel Core i5 6500 3.2 GHz 6MB
- Gigabyte B150M-D3H
- be quiet! Power Zone 850W
- Fractal Design Define S or Fractal Design Define R5
- Pascal GPU, not sure which one yet.
I aim to create a computer with a decent combination of a silent and with a good airflow.

you fucknut, the outside of those bags is conductive.
120gb Sandisk SSD Plus, SATA cable, and an enclosure for an existing drive. How did i do?
>>55540499
lol'd
>>55540665
Shoot.
>>55541468
My 480 SanDisk ssd has given me a lot of hiccups randomly disconnecting and what not. But it's running rock solid now.
>>55541378
Jokes on you. I turned the bag inside out!
:^)
>>55541550
Flightgear
Two of these. Pretty quiet and they came with fan splitters.
These. The stock fans that come with a Define R5 aren't that great as intakes.
>>55541886
Yeah, it was pretty frustrating when it kept stalling out in the middle of a download, and then disconnecting. But I think it may have had something to do with me using the sata power auxiliary connector on my mobo for the pcie slots. After unplugging that never had another issue. It's not the fastest, but still a he'll of a lot faster than a hdd.
>>55542134
Looks nice, maybe I'll give it a shot. No flight stick though.
>>55542906
You can use mouse if you press tab
>>55542981
I'll just set up a controller for it. I should look into if they ever good the steel battalion controller drivers working on Windows 10. Been itching to use that damn thing.
>>55543238
If you bind the controller to keys with a third party application it could work. It is more of a sim than a game for it probably foes jot have native controller support
>>55541268
Don't get a Kingston ssd
>>55541439
>SATA II
you fucked up
>>55543459
What type of brand do you prefer when it comes to SSD's?
>>55543273
Yeah, I figured as much. That's what joy2key is for.
>>55544244
My name when I play is Mav you can find me at Nellis afb most of the time
>>55540144

does it have pcie M.2 ?
>>55543524
Sandisk are good for price-performance and I consider Intel really good but more expensive.
Waiting for it to upgrade my 2GB GTX 770
This arrived yesterday.
It's gud
>>55540144
I stuck with AMD for many years. But no more, especially with no zen news or am4 mobos in sight
replaced my 8320 with a I5 6600k...the difference in speed is just mindblowing
>>55545959
>750ti
For what purpose? Get a 960 or a 290 or something.
>>55546316
