yes and make sure you don't update it for you can slap homebrew on it.

You can get a nice officially refurbished 3DS XL for $115.

didnt know about this, thanks
isn't stuff bought from their official store more likely to be updated though?
>>55533342
Probably.
You have to realize that consoles with outdated firmwares are a valuable commodity and will be marked up as such.
If you manage to get one cheap, you're just lucky.
>>55533149

>>55533059
Is this a joke?
If you could afford a card with twice the performance why are you looking back at something piss weak like 480

>>55533149
yes
I have hundreds of hours in the 2 fire emblems, and the sega classics like Sonic 2, Ecco the Dolphin and Gunstar Heroes.
Homebrew is also simple and it emulates the snes very well.
only get the new 3ds if you want to hack it.

>used nintendo consoles that have never connected to the internet
>valuable commodity
Pick one. I've bought tons of Wiis before when I modded and never once saw anything with an update from the current year if it had ever been updated at all.
Used Nintendo consoles that haven't been beat up to shit by its 5 year old owner is a far more valuable commodity.
