Can't lie, I'm actually kinda dissapointed with my s7.
Screen scratches much easier than my s4 did, and I'm still having the same stuttering and software problems I did with my s4.

It works. It does everything a phone should and I mainly use it to listen to podcasts over the 4g data network, but admittedly I know that it is horribly slow compared to newer phones. I'm amazed when I watch people actually able to tab around, multi-task, and webbrowsing at PC comparable speeds on their phone.
I'm a NEET faggot on my dad's family plan and the phone was a hand-me-down from him who gave it to me years and years ago.
If I did get a new phone, I'd do some research and buy the cheapest one that you could install a custom build of Android on. Google services are awful bloat.

I switched from iPhone 6s to the Galaxy S7 and love it so far.
I just wish I could get rid of all that extra bloat shit Samsung puts on it. I can't root it because Samsung hasn't made it possible to root carrier devices on it yet

Best fucking 100 dollars I've ever spent. This thing does everything I want it to (which in fairness isn't much) and it looks pretty to boot. I know a 720p screen isn't much for you folks but for me it was a major fucking upgrade since the phone I was using before it was a Motorola droid from 2011.
Got a g5. The only thing i miss from my note 3 would have to be the amoled. Other than that removable battery and msd support got me. S7 didnt really appeal to me.
Because my S3 still kicks ass.

they're literally breaking faster than we can fix them, we've had a company wide temporary replacement program where we just give them a brand new phone whenever it breaks because we're so overloaded with repairs

Display, camera and speakers are all really good(which are the only things that *really* matter imo because your phone's camera will still be really good 5 years later whereas you might not be able to run the latest apps). The SoC is good as long as it doesn't throttle. Expect really good ROM support as well. The fingerprint scanner is really, really quick. The only real downside(and it wasn't one for me) is no microSD slot, but that's subjective.

I have a s6 so maybe I will be similar to you. Make sure your software is updated, after a few months samsung fixed their shit and everything ran fine. If that doesn't work try getting a ram clearer.
