I found and picked up some guys iPhone 5 today.
I have no experience with spyPhones, so I want some advice. Should I attempt to sell it on Kijiji/Craigslist? Is it likely that he will be able to track it down through GPS or something?
How can I wipe everything to remove all traces of its history? Also it has a sim card and is connected to fido, I put it on airplane mode.
Am I better off just trying to return it to him? He has good taste in anime so I kinda feel bad.

Just sell it for parts. Anything's better than returning it to Apple since they put zero effort into finding the owner. They just strip it down to reuse the parts for reassembly and sell them as refurbs.
