There are still some 'apps' that are running like shit on it, it's also heating a lot. Battery life might be a ROM problem, but I sure as hell am never go back to the bloated official rom who fucking pops up ads and mounts a virtual disk with Asus software when you plug your phone in your pc. I can't say since I don't own an Android phone with an Intel CPU. I just know it doesn't have the same support as ARM devices.
Anyways, I don't get why Google didn't release an Intel version of their Nexus phones alongside the ARM ones. The Nexus phones are supposed to be like reference phones for developers from what I understand, so Intel would be in a much better position in mobile if they paid Google to require future Nexus phones come in both ARM and Intel variants.

My friend "upgraded" to this phone recently... He now carries around two phones because nothing works on the Atom. I think it would be dope to have an x86 "phone," but if it doesn't run all the shit you want to run it's kinda useless. I could maybe see dual-booting Arch on it or something like that. Seems like a lot of work though for no real reason. I could see in the future having a phone that runs Steam games as being HUGE though. It might be a while before we get there.

You'd be right if it wasn't for the fact that the whole industry has not only leveled off, but in the case of the west, where Apple is strong, gone backwards in therms of shipped and sold phones. When growth is limited to markets where you mostly sell cheap smartphones, a manufacturer who doesn't any sell cheap smartphones isn't exactly going to be breaking sales records when markets where most of the expensive phones are sold are in decline.

I know this is bait for Applefags such as myself, but I'll respond anyways.
1. The Zenfone 2 is not nearly as nice as the 6S. You can meme all you want about iPhones, but the iPhone is better than the Zenfone. That thing is trash. You should have posted a nice phone like the 6P or HTC 10 to make the comparison more fair.
2. While I do understand that microSD is always a plus and is just fine for media, it's still not as fast or well-integrated as pure internal storage. You could compare it to having an SSD + HDD instead of going pure SSD.
I definitely see the clear advantage Android devices have over iPhones if you want a lot of storage for not a lot of money.
However, the Nexus devices are pretty much the only devices I would consider, with the exception of the rare unskinned, frequently updated Android device that comes out. Touchwiz and its ilk are crap. Sense UI is the only one I would maybe bother with.
