I have a GTX 690 that has 2x2 ram. Is this enough for 144hz 1080p?

I have a GTX 690 that has 2x2 ram. Is this enough for 144hz 1080p? This card is a beast but It's limited by the vram.

This is not how VRAM in SLI works
How SLI works is that the data is mirrored, not shared. One card renders one frame, and the other renders the other frame, meaning that your computer's ability to give you a new frame is still limited by the speed of any one card

The 690 is one-card SLI but the same thing applies, it's why there's no 790

I know, hency why I ask is 2x2 enough because I know its not 4. I really hope that there's a way to upgrade the vram, because if there is I will save a ton of money.
