I totally can't empathize with people who, out of their own (not because of noise emission prevention) listen to music with headphones in their own home.
When I used to live in the parents house, I unwillingly "had to use" IEM. This didn't feel like listening to music for me, but more like analyzing/monitoring sound waves, way too analytical. In sound therapy, they don't use headphones either for a reason, don't they.
I prefer and use headphones for everything else, though.
