Shit tech thread
Even if technology in general has come a long way, there is still some specific areas that seems to lag behind.
The two contestant today are:
Printers vs routers

Laser Printers work fine for me. Routers and Modems are pretty fucking shit though.

My BSD server acts like a router
Pretty comfy
And printers always work for me, just gotta replace the powder
Inkjet can go and die in a fire
Laser works when you actually decide to use it (I barely use my one at home) and now with Windows and *buntu drivers aren't that much of a hassle
Routers are shit unless you fork out for something that has a *wrt base, then they're dreams. Asus's RT-AC line is good
Printers have got this one in the bag desu
>>55458291
If you turn the antennas of the router towards the ground you it would look like a bug crawling around, so its not entirely shit anon.
>>55458423
My feelings exactly desu
Cheap + good + not ugly routers are pretty much non existent though.
>>55458291
>buying consumer shit '''routers''' instead of running a pfsense box + unifi aps
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
GET A LOAD OF THIS FUCKING PLEB
