I'm an intern at Microsoft. I've personally met the author of that email. She's real nice. Most of the university recruiters send emails like this. It's a joke, most of HR is in their mid twenties, so they're usually poking fun at the interns for our language because we make them feel old. It's all just goofs, it doesn't feel like they're trying to make Microsoft a hip place to work at all.
