You know when a folder in Windows 10 contains images, the thumbnails for the last two images you put in are shown as part of the icon for the folder? How do I stop folders from doing that, everywhere? I have too many to change them one by one.

I really don't think I can set small icons for folders and large icons for files at the same time.
The option is one size for all the icons in the folder, plus even if it did work I would have to change them one by one.

Just disable "show thumbnails instead of icons" in system properties.
The only catch is that it also disables thumbnails on individual files.
