Are there any good looking linux DE's? Bonus points if it works with touch as well so i can use it comfortably while in bed

Unity and GNOME (maybe Cinnamon) are the only ones that actually have touch support. Others n ay have it, but it is not officially supported.

enlightenment may work if that's your thing.
Cinnamon works with touch
Unity looks good with an icon pack and modified files to remove the gloss effect from the taskbar icons.
