It's not that many. uBlock for obvious reasons, noscript for security/privacy, Refer control for anti-adblock blocking/privacy, RES since it makes reddit better, watch with MPV lets me watch youtube videos in mpv rather than on the shitty, battery eating website, etc.

Only uBlock, NoScript, Refer Control, and Grease Monkey are what i consider mandatory.

Grease Monkey allows me to use various scripts.

Yeah, no server required. The new tab direct redirects the new tab page for chrome to the location of the saved file.

You can easily edit the name and links through trial and error if you have absolutely no idea.
Just look down the name that is associated with the links. i.e ctrl + F /sci/ and see what happens if you change the link and the name.

Every single time umatrix passes one more of your retarded "tests" you say "are you retarded?" and promptly move the goalpost yet again (don't even deny this, your efforts i.e. "th-that's not actually what was referring to, it's this other thing!" are transparent as fuck). This butthurt is hilarious. Right now you're arguing about how the config comes out of the box (which shouldn't really matter because as I've already said you can import noscript rulesets into umatrix).

You clearly have no interest in umatrix. You're just here to "prove" that noscript is somehow superior by setting whatever arbitrary, random criteria under which you think noscipt would likely come out on top, probably so you can save your ego or something.

>>
>>55437889
I want it to block everything that it can block, by default, on install, the second it is installed.

That should be the standard. Everything is blocked until it is white-listed, period.

And no that I don't care that noscript doesn't cockblock the dog from fucking your mom every Wednesday like he has for the past (insert your age here) year because that is not what I installed it to block. It blocks what I need it to, and it blocks all of that shit from every source by default.

This UMatrix shit seems to allow any first party shit by default. Just enjoy your drive by ransom ware because you happened to go on a site that was hosting it directly.
>>
>>55437665
Is this serious? It already does that, uMatrix blocks everything except CSS and images by default.

>>55438038

>>55438049

LOL that's what you're framing it as now? Your old criteria has literally nothing to do with your new one. How does whitelisting google on 4chan.org have anything to do with out-of-the-box configs? Please explain in depth without resorting to insults and gaslighting. I'd really love you see you go through mental gymnastics to string them two together.
>>
>>55438104
Simple. Noscript blocks it by default, but it is an all or nothing thing. If UMatrix blocked it by default (even as a first party) but you could then white-list it on a singly site then you might have a point about umatrix being useful. Google was just used as a convenient example because it has it's hands in everything, including 4chan. Since we are both on here, google and 4chan make good examples because we are both familiar with them.

>inb4: the shill claims to have never heard of Google
>>
>>55438059
You would look me in the eye and lie about not regularly enabling the first party scripts when using NoScript?
>>

>>
>>55438192

Still doesn't make sense. Your previous criteria still has no apparent relationship whatsoever with your current one. Your """mistake""" does nothing to change this. Please explain how the two are the same and, like you said, "My test never changed". Thanks.

Hiding under semantics now, are we? If "by default" you meant "clean install, no user configuration whatsoever" then it directly contradicts with "how to", thus rendering your question invalid from the get go.

Admit it, you set the bar too low when you asked me how to whitelist google on 4chan thinking umatrix won't be able to do it, then changed your rhetoric when you were shown that umatrix could in fact do it and realized you fucked up. >>55438480
No, I am saying those are the kind of people that read these threads for suggestions.
>>
>>55438459
For people that don't know better blocking first party will just make them uninstall the extension.

Hell, with youtube you need to enable a boatload of other scripts. Neither NoScript or uMatrix are for people that don't know better. There's just too much reliance on scripts in the average webpage.
>>
Man that autist is a retard, okay, it's done. Now is ghostery good?
>>
>>55438494
No script will let you allow it to run on a temporary basis, so even if you don't know what you are doing, when you are on a "safe site" like youtube, you can just temporarily allow the entire page.

That makes it easy to use even for them, while still protecting them from first party malware downloads on shady sites.
>>
>>55438533
In that case uMatrix allows that too, just press the turn off button.

Teaching "them" how to disable all restrictions in a website temporarily leads to them disabling them permanently and then disabling restrictions globally cause why be bothered?

>>55438766
I'm having some doubt about the add-on called Stop Fingerprinting. I didn't have it before but I tested it and found some flaws which basically renders it useless.

>* window.screen: emulate standard fullHD screen with 40px task bar at the bottom and devicePixelRatio = 1
The window screen size is useless to spoof since you can always get the inner window size. Most people keep their browser window maximized so it essentially gives away your screen size. According to JonDonym there's no way to spoof the inner window size.

>* window.MediaDevices: hide media devices (microphones, cameras)
Don't have either so can't test this but I guess this is useful if you do have.

>* window.navigator: make all properties match to the current userAgen (if modified)
Not exactly sure what it changes.

>* navigator.plugins + mimeTypes: hide all plugins (they can still be used, just not enumerated)
No plugins installed but I assume you could get the same result by making plugins click-to-activate or use uMatrix and deny plugins by default.

>* font detection: add a bit of randomness to inline elements width and height to confuse font detection
Fonts can still be detected through CSS.
http://pieroxy.net/blog/pages/css-fonts/font-detect.html

Only way to protect against this is to set browser.display.use_document_fonts to 0. This does of course limit your available fonts which can make websites uglier.
