What's the difference between the Redmi Note 3S (Pro Prime) [1] and the regular Redmi Note 3? The way the coupons work is that if the price is over x then it takes a set amount off of the price, so if you're using a different currency (AUD for me) then it only takes less than half of the price off.

You can goy sellers even harder with Alipay. Ali is a big collection of shops like eBay and they can't get any money from Alipay until you mark your item as received which means they're reluctant to chink you. They can also have the money revoked with a dispute, Ali never sides with the seller in those and they're shit scared to refuse you a refund so you always get one.

This is true. However, out of 67 orders on Ali I've had four problems (one never arrived, two DOA, one with cosmetic damage probably from being crushed during shipping) whereas I've only had one in the 16 separate orders I've placed with Gearbest (ordered two batteries, only got one).
Ali refunded all my orders except the cosmetic damage, for which the seller is allegedly sending out a replacement part and some free shit. However, I had to take videos of the defective shit and escalate the disputes to Ali, which took a couple of weeks.
Gearbest were very quick to give me a full refund for my missing battery albeit to my Gearbest wallet, but they did give me the item's value in Good Boy points and I got to keep the battery they had already sent.
There are plenty of horror stories elsewhere of Gearbest being shitheaded cockwombles, but for me so far they've always been great. It helps that I order fun stuff from them whereas I usually get utilitarian crap like USB cables from Ali.
