So my amplifier blew up, and while I technically could change the blown transistors (assuming i can find them), I might as well upgrade.
This old amp was a Creek CAS 4040 and it was okay, but i'd like something better. I guess my budget would be around max ~300$USD, it needs to drive two B&W D601 and i wouldn't mind it having a decent headphone amp so i don't have to use a separate one for my K712s, but it's not a fundamental requirement.
There was also a problem with noise coming from the electrical outlet, how can I circumvent that? I was told a low pass filter could be a viable solution, but this is an area I'm unfortunately not so experienced in yet (which is why I'm asking for advice here).
Pic related, the now broken amp I have.
