i just got a computer from my dad, but there is no graphics card and it runs pretty slow. im wondering what is the best graphics card for a cheap price, and what else i should get to speed it up a bit.

Well,
GTX 580 is what I got for the equivalent of $50. Works fine, does not overheat and can still run games like rocket league, counter-strike, payday and so on.
Would recommend.
That way you could upgrade something else such as the mobo or CPU.

Gtx 750ti
Zotac makes a decent one that requires no 6 pin power and gives breddy gud performance in 1080p for most stuff
