At least for me is an excellente backup and tool to repair my PC or other's. There I keep a W8 bootable installer with the necesarry drivers and programs for everytime I wanna format.
There are a handful of easy ways to interface devices for file transfer, of which only one is cloud. Since I've always got a live device or two at hand there's no need for me to keep things on "dead" media.
