On an H-Series board that hasn't been microcode updated so I can still overclock on it. 4.2ghz seems to be the sweet zone for this particular chip. 4.4ghz is stable at 1.3v but the temp gets to around 79C when the max I see at 4.2ghz is 68C. Feels alright man.

I also got the onboard GPU stable at 1500mhz which manages to pull 40fps at maximum low settings in Overwatch. It looks like shit but I still find it interesting that it pulled it off.

You're getting this performance on a $74 GPU with no dedicated gpu required you dumb fucks. Also there are known issues using a dual-thread processor in BF4.
Anyway by the time you spend money for a dedicated gpu and the dual-thread meme processor the APU will be crossfiring with an R7 250 shitting on whatever overpriced gpu + cpu combo you came up with.
Finally 40-50 FPS on BF4 can easily be achieved if you lower the settings to low 1080p on the A8-7600 APU.

The overclocked G3258 at 4.2 with a Hyper212 will outperform the A8-7600 on any game that the two of them can handle. Read: not 8fps vs 3fps in DX12 games.
I'm honestly baffled you are still unironically recommending an APU for gaming. But go ahead and look it up crossfired with an R7 250 and let me know what you find. I don't think it's going to be pretty, given that the R9 280X has -four times- the floating point performance of the R7 250. Unless you plan to plan to add 3 R7 250s to your system, quad-crossfire them with your onboard graphics (which, by the way, is likely impossible with that number of GPUs), and then also expect every game to have perfect hybrid-crossfire compatibility with 100% performance scaling, you are going to get your shit smacked by the other build.

You can OC the 4400 with a non-k Bios. So i'd say the 4400 assuming you are already grabbing a discrete GPU. At $100 you are pretty close the 6th generation I3, which is obviously better.
