I got my 8320 for 100$ new at my local microcenter. Very capable chip, does what it needs for all my vidya, but it really shines under a heavy heavy workload. If you find yourself working with many intensive programs side by side its great.

If your a light power user and mainly want vidya, an i5 would be a better choice.

Streaming, rendering 3d, and other highly intensive parralel workloads, the FX stomps the i5.

i highly doubt amd can match the i5 with zen

Usually they just destroy shipments of old shit since they don't want to devalue their products. So no, you're not likely to buy the 8350 for next to nothing when zen releases.
