So take off the back of the TV, get to the back of the LCD and push on the other side of the impact. This will realign the layers and, as long as you're careful, should hold themselves there.
my monitor died the other week so I ordered two more but they took almost 1 week to get here so I had nothing to do so I dissembled the old broken monitor and at first I couldn't find anything bad but after further looking I found a tiny little crack on one of the layers the thick one the one that looks like glass. I have no fucking idea how it happened.
