I WANTED to go rigid tubing, but then I thought about it again and figured that it wouldn't be a good idea to do it on the very first time. I'm absolutely fucking glad to the maximum that I didn't, because I didn't even mount the reservoir to the case initially (couldn't find the mounting bracket at first, put it together in a rush of excitement and tiredness).
Having the freedom of movement and the ability to move/remove pieces (especially with the liquid all filled still) has been too beneficial to me.
I've had to reorientate the fans on the front radiator which meant taking the whole radiator out, I've had to remove the top radiator in order to replace my old PSU since I thought it was damaged (its not, but having a higher efficiency PSU installed with a second backup one is always good) and just not having to worry about exact measurements has been a godsend.
I probably would go rigid tubing in the future, but I wouldn't do it before having all of the other gear in place so I could be 100% sure on exactly what I need, where and how much.

With mobos, you're dealing with 4 manufacturers in general (supermicro does mostly server boards, evga barely does anything). Being out of top 3 would mean being the worst, basically. But mobo failure rates don't differ too much from one another.

GPU failure rates are a bit more variable, and getting accurate percentages for manufacturers are a bit difficult. Some manufacturers get high overall failure rates because of a single card that sold much, even if their other cards had basically no failures. Because of this, they vary by a lot every year. For example, 1½ years ago asus was at 3.00% (1.36% now)

There's just not enough reliable data to make an assertion whether asus is more reliable or not.
The reason why I avoid asus is their support. Had an hdd failure in one of their laptops (not complete failure, but it would freeze every now and then for a minute while making shitloads of noise). RMA'd it. They said there was nothing wrong with it, reformatted the drive and sent it back. Obviously didn't fix the issue, so it took another RMA to get the HDD swapped.
