Honestly I am more likely to type 0 AFTER I type one of the other numbers than I am to type 0 and THEN one of the other numbers. 1 and 0 to make 10, 2 and 0 to make 20 etc. I guess this doesn't make as much sense in cultures where reading & writing is not done left to right but the culture that produced QWERTY does.

This is programmer Dvorak which uses the original number row ordering. The idea was to give the user access to an equal range on both hands and put the most often used numbers in the best positions.
