Rage and frustration trying to do the most basic things like setting an IP address because Windows is traditionally GUI focused, whereas Linux has traditionally been CLI focused.
Pretty much the same thing I experienced when trying out Linux for the first time after years of using Windows GUIs from 3.11 - XP.
If you get past the nerd rage of "it's not exactly how i'm used to doing things" you find a lot of convenient functionality.
After using both concurrently for over a decade now I really wish MS or the FOSS community would just both pull their heads out of their asses and concede the other has good ideas and make their respective OSs better.
The security and patching method for linux is better, if the maintainers aren't retarded, and much easier to setup and maintain a system once you're used to it. On the other hand trying to get any family member or friend to use it is just a waste of time as anything more complex than setting an IP requires digging through config files and editing by hand.
