I am trying to root my Android.
>unlock bootloader - check
>flash twrp - check
>flash supersu zip - check
And then SuperSU says that there is no SU binary installed.
Did I miss something, /g/ ?
If so, what should I do?
I have stock ROM (not original for my country but whatever) and stock recovery downloaded, so I'm not in danger, you can suggest me anything.
Open terminal and type in su and hit enter
>>55282619
SuperSU prompted me to grant permission.
And now nothing's happening. Pop up says Terminal was granted root permission, but I get the same error when opening SuperSU. Thanks for reply.
>>55282648
What error?
>>55282660
That SU binary isn't installed and that SuperSU can't install it.
>>55282666
Did terminal switch to root? After su in terminal try whoami and see if you are root.
>>55282680
/system/bin/sh: whoami not found.
I think it did not switch to root although pop-up says so.
>>55282692
Take screenshot of terminal pls
It stays like this forever.
If I run whoami before that then it says that that command does not exist or something like that.
>>55282793
Uninstall SuperSU and try again.
>>55282865
How can I?
It's system app now.
And I've tried reflashing stock ROM and installing SuperSU again, but it didn't work.
>>55282883
Boot to recovery and plug in USB cable, and see if you have ADB Access.
>>55282889
Tried. Same error after installing again.
>>55282934
Dont reinstall SuperSU. the su command should work if SuperSU is not installed. Flash stock rom back and only flash su binary.
>>55283130
But I've thought that SU binary is located in SuperSU zip.
How do I flash binary only?
