I've had the same mouse for 8 years. Its time to buy a new one. What specs should I aim for with a gaming mouse? is 2000 dpi a base line? 2800?
Get a Zowie mouse and a Steelseries 9HD.

80$ for 3200 DPI?
why noy get 5200 DPI

Just get a reasonable oem mouse for $10 or so, it's all more or less the same, but gaming gear is certainly overpriced voodoo bullshit.

Cheap mouses have loud scroll wheels.

DPI isn't teribly important so much as sensor quality. I think Falcon has a list of mice with perfect sensors
>>55272228
higher DPI means nothing
zowie is known for their perfect sensors

Razer Abyssus. Light, comfortable, 3500dpi, relatively cheap. (This is for the older version with blue logo, not green, but I would assume they didn't ruin it).
