Good anons of /g/, would you recommend getting this? Main use would be for office work and note taking.
Realistically I don't need an i5 but there are almost no i3s out there with SSDs. And the speed hit for switching an SSD to a HDD is considerable if /g/ told me right.
Price is not optimal, but this is likely the cheapest I can find for similar >12 inch touchscreen light weight laptops.

Also 1.9 Kg so a bit on the heavier side. For comparson surface pro with keypad is 1.3 Kg.

I would look into the LG Gram. Apparently it's really light, and is a decent laptop.
If you like macOS, the MacBook is a good choice if you don't mind the one port. There's a nice little adapter thingy that you can put in the port, and it gives it USB C and a regular USB port.

Thanks anon! Will look into it.
MacBook is good but touch screen is something I am hoping to get out of it.

On a related note, what is the best daily-usable laptop for power efficiency? Like for someone that is using solar and battery power in a camper, boat or cabin?

Tablets may be too inefficient. DDR3L is a must. No Video card.

Would a Silvermont chip be good enough for stuff like photo and video editing, or would a Core-M or -U be better?
>>55256874
I usually at least recommend a core M in case Windows suck up more processing ability with future updates and you will be struggling.

LG Gram is expansive though, at $ 1.4K.
