Best way to improve Android battery life?
Get an iPhone.

Buy iPhone and forget about that Java OS for poor masses

But I've seen people here post screencaps getting 6+ and more hours screen on time with an android phone. How do they manage that?
>>55252228
Upgrade to marshmellow and use doze.
>>55252300
I dont buy a phone for it's thinness. Quit using baby shit.
>>55252228
Uninstall useless shit anon, you dont need so many games.
>Remove Facebook app
>Use a light weight launcher instead of TouchBloat, Sense or whatever
>Keep an eye out for wake locks and fix them
>Use Android Marshmallow and optionally set Doze to be more aggressive
>Use a lower screen brightness, adjust only when necessary
>Set location services to battery saving
>Disable all radio you don't use (WiFi, Bluetooth)
>DON'T use any "memory cleaners" unless you're a massive faggot who doesn't know how Android's memory management works
>Enable battery saver at all times. You don't need 8 cores to browse the web.
>Buy a power bank
There, next time Google your shit Anon.

>use an app to manage app usage
fucking tap in to your advanced settings underclock the cpu and set the phone to not allow 1 or 2 apps running in background maximum.
>>55252228
Turn it off
>Install Nova launcher and set animation and scroll speed to " faster than light"
>Set mobile network to 3G
>Set screen brightness to auto
>Set screen to shut off after 2-5 minutes if left idle
>Clear cache from apps like Youtube, Chrome, and Clover
>uninstall apps you never use
By doing all this I get a good 2 days of use on my Warp Elite.

I don't know why but those wakelock detecting apps (amplify, powernap, wld) actually increased my battery drain, presumably because they use up RAM.
Also is Nova considered a lightweight launcher?
>>55252228
Disable features that you don't use (auto malwaree/app scan, auto update, etc..), doh. Also don't buy crap like shamesung, lg, etc..
>>55252605
>Remove Facebook app
Use Tinfoil or your browser as an alternative, and messenger is still fine to have.
Did anyone here try using root mods like Lspeed and Nitro X Spark? People in forums say they give more battery life but I'm worried those apps can mess up some settings.
