Looking to get a new monitor. Currently i've narrowed down to Acer Predator XB271HK or a ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q. Any suggestions? How far do you think down the line do you think we are from complete 4k?

It'll be a couple of years before we can run 4k >60fps.

I would wait, these 1440P and 4K ASUS screens have a HORRID level of quality control.

I recently bought the pg279q . it's a lottery and no ips panel is 100% perfect. That said I got either lucky or asus has improved their quality control because I got a fantastic monitor.
