If you mean reapplying thermal paste then probably not if it's new. Clean the dust out of the card and get more case fans.

Take a picture of the inside of your case with the card in place.

MSI has garbage cooling then. The highest my sapphire 390 got was 70c and that was when my front dust filter was dirty.
Reduced my temps by 5 degrees, first time I changed it in 3 years.
