Fingerprinting thread a go go

Remember, kids, disabling JavaScript is cheating, since many sites (4chan) require JavaScript to work.

Some kind anon two threads before posted a link to a story that indicates Google is injecting fingerprint code into their CAPTCHAs.
That means you can't post on 4chan without being fingerprinted or being tracked with a pass.
This means it's not paranoid to think Google knows about your shitposting habits.

Daily reminder to do all your Google / Facebook / LinkedIn / botnet shit in a completely separate browser to your shitposting.
It's currently the ONLY way to truly defend against fingerprint tracking.
The Tor Browser Bundle is still susceptible to many fingerprinting attacks that can uncover your true OS and browser.
Spoofing your user-agent is counterproductive unless you use a different user-agent for every site, even if you rotate them every x HTTP requests.

Anybody know how to use 4chan completely JS free?
I can't see a JS-less CAPTCHA option in the settings, and on Chrome when JS is disabled I can't even expand the [Post a Reply]

You can't but if you want to avoid running JavaScript from 4chan and Google then you can install 4chan X and set it to use the non-JS captcha as well as replace the native catalog with 4chan X's own one. This way you can also block cookies for 4chan.

Oh it's 4chan X.
Thanks.

This is now completely useless. The test is absolutely biased because of the years of autistic /g/ browser configurations.

hahahahahaha
no...

Didn't 4chanX have some malware / advertising scare?
Not sure if want

Nonsense, it still tells you that your riced browser is unique.
It's still useful for checking what kinds of things make up your fingerprint, which is the main point.
It just means normies who use the site will get a higher uniqueness rating than is probably true relative to the entire internet.

No it isn't, because many websites do work without JS, and its easy to a.) keep JS disabled until you run across a site that doesn't work at all without it, and b.) if you still want to use that site, selectively whitelist JS in uMatrix or the like. It's easy to allow example.com to run its own JS but disallow anything coming from, eg, google analytics.

loling even harder

And what if they include the code in the code required to make the page work?

what if you put together a coherent sentence?

Not my fault you have the memory of a goldfish and can't remember what we were talking about

What is device fingerprinting, dumbass.

easily solved with a VM, thats what it is.

Show me a set of tests that can be used to reliably track someone that purely fingerprint only the device.
Dumbass.

No, that was 4chan's native Javascript.
