not only do the two seem like they are redundant for many parameters, but in reality they are not the same at all.
Meaning now you have the Windows "settings" app network settings, and the control panel network settings. The two are used to modify completely different settings.
Even some retard making a kickstarter project would have more common sense than the fucking imbecile at Microsoft that green-lighted this bullshit.
They could have either kept control panel and made it more tablet friendly, or otherwise just made the settings app into the only application for modifying your settings.
Don't even get me started on the stupidity that is the windows registry.

Because the two are used for completely different parameters as I've said before. Even if you don't have a touchscreen and don't want to use the settings app, you're forced to use it. Because some parameters are only available in the settings app, and not in the control panel. And vice versa (try changing your login password or login options in Control Panel. YOU FUCKING CAN'T)
