Try a cross collab with people from seniors from other majors. For instance make a bioinformatics platform with another kid from the life sciences and another kid from business school. Or maybe doing drone swarm tech with a couple of kids from engineering. Or make a documentary about hacking with some kids from theater.

Thanks, I like the drone swarm tech idea although I don't know much about drones in general.. Anyone on here have any advice or shouts on resources I should be looking at?

Literally any embedded system based on $5 rpi zero would work

I don't really see where the CS comes in. It's all more EE/CE/ME.
Make a more user friendly programming language based on Occam Pi please. Asynchronous programming needs to die already.

Coordinating the swarm requires computer vision, networking, etc. There would be a great deal of programming needed.
Maybe it's more software engineering than computer science, but most undergrad CS courses are more programming than CS anyway.
