Hello guys,
I'm looking for some people that have or had experience in using Qlogic cards in target mode with FreeBSD.
I know that the isp driver supports most of them but what is not clear to me is what features will i be missing?
I honestly doesn't need SANSurfer or management software but I care about NPIV for example.
Anybody here using QLA246x on FreeBSD 10 that can help me find out please?
Also, how are the performance of the card? Comparable to using the official driver in Linux, close to that, or nowhere near?

I'm asking with regards to Qlogic cards as I can get a hold of refurbished ones for little to nothing but I'm open to evaluate also Emulex if they work better or any other brand really, as long as I can find used ones. This is for shit and giggles in my home lab and would like to keep under 100$ for 2 cards and cables.

Thanks
