Trying to go for that "coffee shop/nighttime" look with my launcher. As you can clearly tell, it isn't going anywhere.

Icons need to be a bit thicker. Not sure how to do that other than making your own.
You can also do something cute like replacing the bottom tray icons with hipstery text. Not sure what a good font would be.

Why not just replace all icons with text? It'd look better than what OP has now.
