Ms comfort 4500, best comfy mouse used in a decade. Spec wise rat wasnt bad except the QA they have on their products are done by blind chinks. Functionality wise the red button is god sent, but other companies caught up so i dont think rat is viable anymore.

$15 Anker vertical mouse. Surprisingly decent, and comfy once you get used to the grip. I was tired of all the poorly built $60 gaymen mice dying after a year or two (it seems that no one builds decent mice at any price point), at least now it's not a big deal if it dies.

g303 was fine, it's just the grip on the g303 was killing my hands.

Using the roccat kone pure, but I'm thinking of getting a new mouse with my new build soon. This is the longest lasting mouse I've had, nearly 4 years now. Before that I used a sensei but it was too slippery. Ironically the best mouse I ever used was the f4tality mouse but it broke down after a year so I never got a new one (that was back in like 2007).

The problem is I hate mice that have a ton of buttons. I don't play mmo's and when I do I don't use fucking mouse buttons. I don't even use the back/forward buttons. I just want a real nice high quality 3 button mouse.

got 6 other mice, mostly zowies. but they are uncomfy to me and non-glossy mice the coating wears after 1 week and becomes a slippery (and worn) mess. Glossy is grippy as hell and doesnt wear off.

I wouldn't say so.

I upgraded from the 402 but it's good enough, just keep it

Using a Razer Mamba for over 3 years now, always wired and never used it wireless.
Works like a charm except of the wheelclick which kinda broke because it accepts only every 5th click or something
Had a Razer Copperhead before that that had that terrible doubleclick issue. Had to clean the contacts with alcohol every few weeks

Any suggestions? Looking at the Rival 300.

I use this. Absolutely love it (upgraded from MS intellimouse 2.0). Had it for about 2 years now.

A year after I got it I had to RMA it because the upper right side button had basically become un-pressable because of how I use it (push to talk, resting my ring fingers midpoint on the tip of the key which overhangs so basically I was using my finger as a leaver when pressing it causing it to degrade quickly) I feel the button going again and as mush as I love the mouse, I don't want to have to buy a new one every 2 years. Been hunting for a replacement for a while with an identical layout, but having trouble

Maybe they will make a 2016 version with reinforced buttons, but seems unlikely.

Tried the g600 too and own a naga 2014. It gets me when i think of my dead skin accumulates in between the buttons. Then ill place my thumb on the very top of of the number keys and it stress my thumb. Same goes for g600 and even worst. The g600 doesnt feel great on my hand with palm grip. mice are an anachronism kept alive by gamers and baby ducks

trackpoints, trackpads, pen digitizers, and capacitive touchscreens are superior for the non-gaming master race

fyi people seriously game with trackballs
>>
>>55202740
I know, I bought the trackball for gaming for myself and photo editing for my gf.
>>
>>55202740
>trackpoints, trackpads, capacitive touchscreens
All of these are inherently inferior options which only exist for the necessity of form factor.

Same as chicklet keyboards. The real baby ducks are the people who use laptop peripherals on desktops.
>>
Had the Deathadder 2013 for 2-3 years. The scroll wheel/button was becoming unresponsive at times so I recently bought the Steelseries Rival 300 to replace it and I'm really liking it so far! Have to use a bit more force to press the buttons so I'm getting no accidental clicks like before. Slightly longer mouse too which fits nicely in my hand.

The rubber on the left mouse button has worn down a little bit and the silicone is yellowing, everything else is fine.
Recently ordered a chinese mouse that looks to have about the same silicone/rubber part. Hopefully I can cut it down a bit and make it fit on my razer.

I used it but it developed a random double click bug when I was only doing a single click, drove me through the fucking roof and had to return it, hoping for a replacement. However the shop told me they stopped making them, ended up trading in the G600 for a G502

Are there any mice that look really basic but feature incredibly precision for my shootan?

I don't want all this gay rice shit. I just want something that looks like a $5 2005 microsoft office mouse but has the internals of the gods with little to no software horseshit and no extra buttons.

Does such a thing exist?

A $100 mouse isn't necessarily better than a $10 mouse, good sensors can be found for cheap and many expensive mice have poor sensors.

Two easy things to look for is acceleration and prediction. Both of these things are perceived as bad, but neither necessarily is.

Open paint and draw a line moving your mouse a predetermined distance quickly, then do it again slowly. If the lines aren't equally long, your mouse has acceleration.

You can also see this in the previous test, but if you try to draw a circle as well as you can, any straight lines means you have prediction.

My mouse has prediction, but no acceleration.

There can also be tracking issues on certain surfaces, things can go bad when you lift the mouse, and they can be inaccurate when going fast.

Most of it doesn't matter at all to the average person.
