Don't know why reviewers don't go more in depth on the screen, arguably the most important part of the phone. Most of them just say, "It's AMOLED so it's great!" and leave it at that.

What are some /g/ approved phones? I bought the Huawei P9 to try it out, felt very expensive (it was) but had a very nice premium look/feel. Sent it back and now trying out the Nexus 6P. It gets a bit too warm but with a case that shouldn't be a problem. The camera is good and the space is decent for what I'll be using it for, it also has a big screen and a fingerprint scanner on the back which I love. I was going to try out the Samsung S7 Edge next but that is also an expensive phone, though the camera is amazing.

In flash storage, random access and sequential access has no fucking difference whatso-fucking-ever, it takes the same amount of time to read any given block of memory in flash memory, whereas with a disk, it physically rotates to the required sector.
What I'm saying is that, for rotation based memory, sequential is better, but shouldn't be seen as the end-all, be-all benchmark.
