How many times has Microsoft rebooted it for you though? It is their PC now after all.

I use sleep mode instead of shutdown, but after about a month shit is getting weird
Mouseover popups don't pop up
Up/down in terminal scrolls the view instead of input history
Left right doesn't move cursor, can only move it with home, end, backspace, delete
Windows don't go to foreground on focus, can type in editor that is hidden behind a couple maximised windows
The fucking start button once stopped working

A reboot fixes it but why does it happen in the first place?
