My PC keeps overheating and shutting down only when I play games. I get that games are these days are CPU intensive and all but I've never had this problem before. It might be due to my room having poor ventilation and gets hot kinda fast but what do you guys think? Should I get a new heat sink?

So not just a regular housefire, a supercharged housefire?
>>55148693
yeah, any suggestions outside of letting it burn down my house?
Apply new thermal paste. Leave the old thermal poster where it is, and apply as much will fit in between. Mayo is a good substitute if you can't afford a good tpaste

Good one
If you're playing old games limit your FPS.

Well, try to put on fresh thermal paste and clean out the heatsinks. Dust really affects heatsink performance.

Clean the dust out of the heatsink. If that doesn't work then reapply thermal paste.
Ask in the /sqt/ next time faggot.
