two 200$ cards are better than one $600 card if firestrike is to be believed

anyway, In the UK (where I'm from) it should be £130-£150 ($200 ish) for the 480 and its £400 ($570) for the cheapest 1070 non FE. The 1080 is £700 ($990)

Nvidia doesn't know what an exchange rate is, but AMD does

You clearly don't understand the tech industry my dude. We make our shit in japan and china, and it costs much more to bring them to England than it does to bring them to burgerland. For one of our competitors it is the other way around. I would give you more information as to why but I am genuinely not allowed to.

Please, tell me how shipping it a little bit further, at little extra cost judging by import prices from China, costs over $180. $30 difference I could take for shipping, but not nearing on $200. Even if its the export tax of japan, burgerland has ridiculous import/export tax so, in theory, it should cost more. Obviously the market is bigger so it costs a tad less, but it should even out, like it does with Intel and AMD

>>
>>55112998
I have no idea what the exact case is for them but sometimes even trivial shit like the materials used in PCBs and the capacitors used can cause certain checks to be put into the picture. Sometimes depending on how many you are shipping out or from which specific OEM factory it can cause your shipment to be inspected rigorously. There are thousands of different variables that can cause prices to sky rocket for certain companies.

Yes, you are correct. Pirating windows IS easy. Some people are uncomfortable with piracy though. They'd rather just pay the $85 to save the worry of ISP letters or having to use a vpn. You aren't wrong at all, but saying everybody should pirate windows is not a good way to go about encouraging people to get into the pc building hobby.

There will be pics. This is my first actually nice build. Nothing too special though:

I5-6600k
Asus z170 mobo
Msi gtx 960 4gb
Corsair 750w
Cooler master 212 evo cpu radiator
2x 8gb ddr4 ram
All in a zalman z9 neo case
6 case fans

Gonna be loud as fuck, but I don't care.
>>
>>55118717
If you have the parts already, hope its all good for you. but 750w is a lot. and a 960 seems like not a alot. Holdover for 1070? I got 5 fans and its silent AF in my 350D >>55118687
>>
>>55107134
Crazy how that top CPU fan directs air out at a 90-degree angle without a duct. I figured going strait up without a special fan like that would be ideal?
>>
>>55118717
You didn't already buy the 960 did you? Also why all them fans? None of those parts run particularly hot, even with OC.
>>
>>55118778
Got the 960 for next to nothing. Decided to go for 750w just in case I decide to go sli or water cooled or something in the future. The idea is that I can easily make upgrades.
>>
>>55118779
I'm not sure I understand what you mean. You can aim the cpu fan up or out the back.

But why isn't it aimed out the back where there is an empty exhaust. is there a a duct up top? why dont you have a fan on the back? im not the other guy

I got the 960 for next to nothing. The fans come with the case. May not use them all.

It's true. My cable management was horrendous for 6 months. Highest gpu temp i ever saw was 72c with pretty good settings in Witcher 3, with the cpu being 59c at the same time.
HOWEVER - whenever I wanted to do anything Inside, it was a bitch and a half. Installing hard drives took twice as long because I had to snake extra sata data and power through my spaghetti tangle. I literally HAVE to reroute the cpu 8pin power because it was dangling in front of the cpu fan, and I want to upgrade to a new cpu cooler.
So, yeah, your computer will run fine with bad cables, but you should still at least try.
>>
>>55130424
Who would think it would change performance? Unless its a tiny case with a HUGE bundle of cables blocking a LOT of airflow it wont matter in the slightest for temps, it's about looks.
>>
>>55130523
i like it, and i think it will look much better with the PSU and some kind of other decoration of some sorts inside there, but the motherboard is even smaller than most micro atx boards, so i could probably put it in a mini itx compact case
