With a CEO that actually supports user privacy instead of generating profit from the exact opposite, and the limitations between platforms slowly shrinking, is now the time for iPhone to represent the privacy conscious?
My reasoning:
-Encryption enabled by default
-Photo analysis utilities will be locally processed
-Frequent updates, especially when exploits are discovered (compared to Samsung especially)
-Not reliant on Google services
As for Android,
-Less updates, updates controlled by carriers instead of manufacturer
-Many manufacturers, not necessarily a good thing since some have shipped with malware in the past
-Less strict analysis of newly submitted apps
Please prove me wrong, I love my android but if apple is better for privacy I'm making the switch

Any Android phone can be decrypted easily by law enforcement no questions asked.
iPhone cannot be decrypted except for high level federal agents with millions to spend on private exploits.
Any jackass can read your Android. It's not safe.

Made up my mind, ditching Androshit next year.

I did that a couple years ago...no real regrets.
The only issue I have is that Im still heavy on Google for core services. Gmail, Calendar, Contacts etc. Using those on iPhone can be a less than ideal experience. Ive considered switching to something else but nothing else compares really, unfortunately.
