HDB's bonus points system is complete shit. There's not much of an incentive for long-term seeding (the bonus is capped at 70 months total - you can easily game the system by seeding tiny torrents). If you set aside a few gigs of space to archive them then you can get the maximum bonus immediately after joining.
Assuming you are archiving 1 TB of files and getting ALL the other bonuses (old torrents, poorly seeded torrents, 2 factor authentication), and seeding 24h, around-the-clock, it takes almost a month to be able to buy only 50GB with bonus points. You need to be seeding between 5 and 6 TB to finally get those 50 gigs weekly. The only decent way of earning upload is being a useless seedbox pump-and-dumper for a month.
Meanwhile on PTP for seeding 1TB you can buy a few hundred gigs of upload per month, depending on your seedtime, plus you are incentivized to seed as long as possible since you earn more and more.
