People are going to get mad at this but I bet that it correlates with populations as a whole in the US. More white people in tech jobs because there are more white people in the US in general.
We strive for equality in the workplace, but without taking into account the demographics of the US and the percentage of white to non-white. For an equal number of asians and white people to be into the same field, a dis-proportionally large percentage of total asians would need to be included.
