definitely seconded. I'm looking at a p641re right now. A 14inch i7-6700m with a 970m and a 1080p screen. 3 hours battery life but i plan on putting some better cells in a second battery pack.

Get a laptop with reasonably good hardware, being a "gaming" system doesn't matter beyond that if you're not buying a server or something.
While I'm at it, stay away from HP Envy's, maybe I got unlucky but mine stopped booting after less than 2 years and was generally sketchy in terms of heat.
