what's your favorite desktop environment?
Mate is my personal favorite. Simple, clean, fast. Unity can die in a fucking fire.
Unity becasue muh LIM and HUD.

Kill yourself anime autist.
Xfce. Easily customizable to have any layout of pretty much every other DE while remaining relatively bloat free.
Used to be really fond of Cinnamon before I realized Xfce could do the exact same thing but with better performance and less Gnome.

because of your screenshot i gather you are on a cross road
enlightenment is nice diserves it's own place but as with the gtk DEs you will have troble using kde-applications outside of kde, they will work but might miss icons or other things and configuring the look of Qt5 applications is a bit of a pain in the ass
lxqt makes everything work nicely and also gives you openbox flexibility

I'm using MATE with i3 right now, it's nice.
Pantheon for that Mac like type of comfy

was about to get enlightenment but realized it was shit gonna get this instead looks pretty good
Well I tried installing fedora in a VM and fucked it up somehow getting a boot error
>>55000445
I'm a complete and utter retard who is brand new to this Linux thing. That may be why I like KDE Plasma.
Also Krunner has been the best thing I experienced straight out of a fresh install. Can it be used on other Distros?
>>55001269
Windows search, OSX spotlight/alfred, Ubuntu's Unity Dash, etc. Krunner can be used on any distro. It's just KDE specific, so you'd have to use that DE.
>using a DE
haha okay
