Am I the only one using this? Its the best thing there is, this thing is so thin and small I can fit them in my wallet with no bulge, and you've got the choice of any kind and capacity of Micro SD you want.
The only bad thing is that they're so cheap on Amazon, UK at least, that they're only an add-on item. They're less than £3 right now.

Here is only the part of my collection that is still in use.
I've decided to only buy USB 3 flash drives with both USB Type A and Micro B connectors, even though I don't even own any high-speed USB 3 devices. But the drives have a higher speed, even at when connected to USB 2, and keep that speed up for way longer.
I always keep an empty flash drive at hand for when somebody wants to share something with me.
