Hi /g/, I got a question. What is better if you are a programmer Ubuntu or Windows. I'm thinking on moving to Ubuntu. But I need your opinion.
Depends what you need to do, if you're just writing and testing code, Ubuntu, if you need specific programs that are only on windows, go Windows.
Or, go with both, dual boot and use what you need at the time.

I´m a Python and web developer.

Google recommends Ubuntu for Android. Even if you need to develop shit specifically for Windows, you can run a Virtual machine.

Go with Ubuntu or another GNU distribution, like Fedora or Arch.

I never realized it until now, but in that pic, it looks like Tux is either horrified or having some kind of an existential crisis.

Go for Ubuntu or Debian.
I'm a web dev too and I can do everything I want to with Ubuntu
UBUNTU IS FUCKING GARBAGE

Arch Linux or openSUSE
unless you're writing .NET win32 garbage there's pretty much no reason to use windows for programming.
unix is fucking bomb for anything programming related, hands down.
