If I were big on CP or something like that, I'd probably find a way to conceal my storage medium really well, like build a household item like a teapot or a potplant or something that would make it easy to conceal a small SSD or USB stick physically, so that any search conducted by police would be unlikely to turn it up. I'd create an encrypted file and rename it "topsecretufos.iso" or something so that if police DID find it, I would claim that I'd downloaded it and was hiding it because I believed they were documents of high value, but that I was totally unaware it was an encrypted file so they couldn't then compell me to unlock it.
