Just got one of pic related off Ebay. Unfortunately it was supposed to be "new, unused" but came with alternate firmware on it, then it crashed when I tried to boot up the flashing software, and now it completely won't boot.

Because they're kill off by netbook which was kill of by tablet and cell phone. UMPC is kinda a bubble before all those tech came into the market. Once the newer tech come out, the UMPC is kinda death.

They're out there, it's just that a lot of people don't consider their features necessary and would rather have shitty touch screen keyboards and a toy OS on their smartphones and tablets. Netbooks also killed a lot of the older larger/heavier UMPCs like these >>54904813 because if something is heavy and bulky enough that you can't carry it on your person then why make compromises on your input methods that are normally associated with devices designed to be carried on your person.
